BNC ELLAREE’S BUTTERFLY
ABC 2806 SIRE: Mead's Hi Yeller ABC 1914 Stunning Buckskin mare born 8th July 2000 in Canada. She has produced 2 beautiful foals to date, Namaspamoos C Bibouk*, a buckskin colt, and Jak Namaspamoos Butterfly, a wonderful cremello filly. She spent 2006 and 2007 in France at Jak Curly Horses, where she was started under saddle both western and English style. ‘Butt’ arrived in Wales in the late summer of 2008, to become part of the Trevor Hall Farm curly horse breeding programme as one of the foundation mares. Her curly pedigree is heavy on the Damele lines, but with Yellow Jacket and Dixie D (Nevada Red). There is also a nice inclusion of the Fredell line and she is matched well to our Curly Quarter Horse stallion, Warrior Lynx, to produce a working/stock foal, but could also produce a more performance foal if bred to a sporthorse stallion who would compliment her movement. ‘Butt’ is a kind, sensitive mare, with a lovely head and well proportioned body. She stands at 14.3h, but appears a much larger horse than this with her strong paces. She has a very powerful trot and a smooth canter – perfect for any ridden discipline. We have high hopes for the foal she will produce with our Curly Quarter Horse Stallion, Warrior Lynx in 2010 which is due mid March. |
