CHAPS reg: 08/2468 Born 1st June 2008 Sire: Painted Dunn Deal ABC 3232 A wonderful, friendly and beautifully marked skewbald, tobiano gelding by this fantastic moving stallion. Barney has great markings, tremendous trot and you would never know he was a curly other than his temperament of course – his coat is straight all year round!! This is not an uncommon occurrence in the ‘curly world’. Barney has what we term as bunny fur – its still not the same as normal horses, but does not have the curl, but is still hypoallergenic. A great little horse for someone with allergies, but who does not like the curls! Barney has completed his ground training and has been lightly started under saddle to accustom him to a rider. He just loves learning and we are looking forward to the spring of 2011, to begin his training in earnest. He has been exceptional in his trainability and we are very pleased with the way he is progressing. Barney is also growing like a weed, at is standing at 15hh (152cm) now. He should easily make 15.2h (157cm). |
